Since its origins, Rubis Mécénat aims to establish
a dialogue between contemporary art and specific places by joining forces with emerging and mid-career artists. The fund commissions the artists to create site-specific art works for cultural institutions and also for the industrial sites of the Rubis Group.
For each commission, Rubis Mécénat produces
the art work and accompanies the artist throughout the artistic process. The fund also supports the artist in a longer term by purchasing work and editing publications. The realization of the art work is also documented in a video.
Whether it is a collaboration with places like the Collège des Bernardins or St. Eustache Church, in Paris,
or on the Group’s own industrial sites, Rubis Mécénat always gives the artist a blank slate.
